Funeral services for Evelyn Jones Hills,
81, of Sugar Land, Texas will be held on Friday, November 10, 2000 at
12:15 p.m. at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd.,
Sugar Land with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in
Rosenberg, Texas. Father John Weyer will officiate the service.
Evelyn was born March 7, 1919 in Oaklawn, LA to Jeff Jones, Sr. and
Josephine Bauer Jones. She passed away November 5, 2000 in Houston,
TX. She was a member of St. Laurence Catholic Church in Sugar Land.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jeff Jones, Sr. and
Josephine Jones; sisters, Corine Johnson, Edith Beard, Clara Byrdlong,
and Fannie Hart; brothers, Jeff Jones, Jr. and Joe Jones; and
son-in-law, Paul Bullock.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Eddie Hills of
Sugar Land, TX; daughters, Josephine Elizabeth Wicks and husband,
Eugene, of Rochester, NY; Eddis Barbara Bullock of Philadelphia, PA;
and Evelyn Williams and husband, Barry, of Missouri City, TX; son,
Edward C. Hills of San Diego, CA; 9 grandchildren; 10 great
grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many
friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, Friday,
November 10, 2000 at St. Laurence Catholic Church in Sugar Land.
