James Anthony "Jim" Falsone, 76,
died peacefully at his residence in Stafford, Texas, where he had
resided for 72 years. He was an active member of the community and
co-owner of Golden Rule Oilwell Service Company for over 40 years. As
a young may he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He fought
in WWII under the direction of Gen. Patton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Francis Copeland Falsone;
sister, Mary Falsone Laperouse; father and mother, A.J. and Lena
Falsone. He is survived by his loving daughter, Patty F. Priddy and
husband, Frank; grandchildren, Michael, Thomas, Patrick, and Devin
Priddy; brothers, Nick Falsone and wife, Mary; Joe Falsone and wife,
Bessie; sister, Pauline Eschenfelder and husband, Vernon;
brother-in-law, Charles Laperouse and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family received friends and other family members on Monday,
January 1, 2001 for a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic
Church, 1510 Fifth Street in Missouri City, Texas. The Funeral Mass
was held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 2 at Holy Family Catholic
Church. Interment at Forest Park Lawndale. Pallbearers were Mike
Baird, Kevin Eschenfelder, Dewayne Falls, Michael Falsone, James
Laperouse, Nick Lykos, Trevor Salton and Anthony Falsone (honorary).
