Hal B. Clarida, 58, died suddenly and
unexpectedly at his home in Meadows Place, TX where he had resided for
the last 26 years. At the age of 51, Hal found his true calling when
he became a police office for the Meadows Place Police Department. He
worked his way up to Patrol Sergeant. He graduated from Monterey High
School in Lubbock, TX. He attended Texas Tech University. Hal is a
Vietnam veteran. He gained the respect of his friends, family and
members of the community and was very well liked by all who came to
know him.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Lori Clarida; daughter,
Macey Drescher and husband, Jeff; son, J. Bradley Clarida and wife,
Shay; mother, Maxine Clarida; grandchildren, Jenna and Jeffrery
Drescher, Johnathan and Christopher Clarida; nephew, Allen Clarida;
niece, Stephany Clarida; a host of loving relatives and an endless
number of friends; and of course, everyone at the Meadows Place Police
Department.
In celebration of his life, the family asks that you join them at a
Memorial Service scheduled for Friday, June 2, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at
St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 12627 W. Bellfort in Sugar Land. Rev. Kevin
Thissen will officiate.
