ROBERT R. SCOTT, "SCOTTY", 73, of Sugar Land,
and formerly of Houston, passed away August 7, 2003. He was born
on July 14, 1930 in Rochester, New York to J.M. and Viola Scott.
Mr. Scott served in the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant and
was a graduate of Victoria College and the University of
Houston. He retired from Transco Energy (now Williams Co.) in
1986. Mr. Scott was a member of St. Laurence Catholic Church,
the American Legion and the Hey Lollies Square Dance Club. He is
survived by his wife of 49 years, W. Lee (Tipton) Scott; sons,
William J. Bianchi of Beaumont, TX, Richard P. Bianchi of
Houston, TX, Michael R. Bianchi of Houston, TX; and daughter,
Julie A. Brannon of Springfield, VA; grandchildren, Carisa,
Jessica and Jennifer Bianchi of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Lauren Bianchi
of Austin,
TX, Nina and Claudia Bianchi of Houston, TX
and Michelle Brannon of Springfield, VA; Brother, John W. Scott
and wife Mary of Charlottesville, VA; and numerous nieces and
nephews. Friends are invited to visitation with the family on
Monday, August 11, 2003 from 6:30 until 8:30 P.M. with a Vigil
Service beginning at 7:30 P.M. at The Settegast-Kopf Co. Funeral
Home at Sugar Creek (Williams Trace Exit). A Mass of Christian
Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at
St. Laurence Catholic Parish, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd. Rite of
Committal will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The
University of Houston - Victoria, Texas to the Rose and Taylor
