Frances "Honey" Morrell Mitchell, 91, of Sugar Land, died May 22, 2005 at Cornerstone Hospital, Bellaire, Texas. A native of Plaquemine, Louisiana and resident of Beaumont for the early part of her life, Honey was a retired secretary with Maryknoll Ministries.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenelle Williams of Sugar Land; son-in-law, Albert Williams of Houston; sister, Margaret Lucia of Orange; grandchildren, George Williams and his wife Lisa of Sugar Land and Robert Williams and his wife Rebecca of Waller; great grandchildren, Amber Williams, Austin Williams, Aidan Williams and Bobby Williams, Jr.; and many other loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her husband, Robert "Bob" Mitchell preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2005 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church followed by graveside services at 1:30 p.m. at Mitchell Cemetery, Burkeville, under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
