Dr. Lester J. Kocinski, a long-time resident of Sugar Land, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006, in Brownsville, Texas, at the age of 62. His family was his passion and he will be greatly missed by grieving sons, Michael (Rebecca) and Ricky, as well as beloved grandsons, Payton and Sabastian.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Millie, and is survived by siblings, Tina Reilly of Lake Charles, LA, and Dr. Karen Russell (Tim) of Burr Ridge, IL, as well as his nieces, Shannon Reilly, Greer and Tess Russell.

Contacts kept with friends after decades and across great distances have been reciprocated to his family with their memories of Dr. K’s kindness and compassion.

Dr. Kocinski will be buried at Houston National Cemetery with full military honors. An open invitation is being extended to attend a separate memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2006, at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 115 Seventh Street, Sugar Land, with Father Roy Oggero officiating.
