LaQue Dobbins Byrd of Sugar Land, 72, went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2006.

She is survived by her husband Richard Byrd; children Gery Dobbins and wife Becky, Marty Dobbins and wife Margie, Rhonda Briggs and husband Curtis; step-children Charles Byrd and wife Jan, Sharon Barnes and husband Bruce; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters Evon Wiedemann and husband Howard, Josie Burney.

Visitation was Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Rosewood Funeral Home, Humble, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m., Monday, May 1, 2006 at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services were held at Woodlawn Cemetery 12:00 p.m. following funeral services.
