Martin "Tex" Gottselig, 79, died peacefully in his home on Friday, April 23, 2004 surrounded by his immediate family. Martin, a World War II veteran, will be remembered as a loving husband, a devoted father, and devout Catholic.

He is preceded in death by his son, John. He is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Rick Gottselig and his wife, Sabrena, Deborah Gottselig, James Gottselig, Michael Gottselig and his wife, Mary, Ann Collins and her husband, Lin, Terrie James and her husband, Rob; brother, Dan Gottselig; and sister, Jean Smith. Martin is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A mass celebrating Martin's life was held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 26, 2004 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 115 Seventh St., Sugar Land, Texas. Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg, Texas.
