Funeral services for Jewell "Mimi" Fletcher, age 97, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Cemetery in Houston.

Mrs. Fletcher, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2004 in Boerne, TX. She was born February 15, 1907 in Paradise, TX.

A longtime Stafford resident, she served her community in many different areas. She was a member of Tri City Volunteers and S.S.O.S., and she volunteered with the Fort Bend County Food Bank. She also worked in the Mothers Day Out program at New Hope Lutheran Church in Missouri City.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Lister; grandson, Gary Perrin and wife, Ann Perrin; granddaughters, Sandra Vargas and husband, Bobby Vargas; Renee Smith and husband, Wade Smith; and Kelly Pilgreen and husband, "Bubba" Pilgreen; grandson, Buck Lister; 12 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

Her daughter, Doris Perrin, preceded her in death.
