ANITA KAY GRIFFITH COPELAND, a wonderful Mother and beloved Friend, fell into the Hands of God on November 11, 2004. She was born on September 1, 1954.

Anita touched a countless number of lives during her short, but fulfilling life. Anita's outspokeness, and sincerity are among the numerous qualities that she graced us with. Anita will be missed, but will always be with us in our thoughts and prayers. She was employed with InsurePointe of Texas.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Theron and Dorothy Griffith. She is survived by her husband, Mike W. Copeland; son, Jason Michael Copeland; daughter, Jennifer Sue Copeland; grandchildren, Tanner Alan and Sebastian Reed Williams and their father, Jeff A. Williams; brothers, Robert Virgil Griffith of Houston, John Griffith, Raymond H. Griffith, Stephen E. Griffith, Timothy W. Griffith, David L. Griffith, Theron Griffith, Jr. and Dennis T. Griffith; and sister, Karen Sue Gibson all of Greenfield, Indiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues who will miss her dearly.

The family received friends from 5 o'clock in the afternoon until 7 o'clock in the evening on Monday, November 15, 2004, in the Chapel of The Settegast-Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas, 77478, with a rosary to be recited at 7 o'clock. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1510 5th St., Missouri City, Texas, 77459.
