Funeral services for Barbara A. Youngblood,
82, of Lufkin will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 14,
2003 in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, Texas with
Rev. Dee Black officiating. Interment will follow in the
Whitehouse Cemetery.
Mrs. Youngblood was born on November 16, 1920
in Sugar Land, TX to the late Louis H. and Selena (Shaper)
Dreier and died on Saturday, May 10, 2003 at her home.
She resided in Sugar Land for many years
where she was self-employed as an insurance agent and was a
member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sugar Land. She then
moved to Lufkin where she had resided for the past 21 years.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Youngblood
of Lufkin; daughters, Stephanie Wilson and husband Randy of
Lufkin, and Beth Ann Pipes of Kingwood; three grandchildren,
John Foster Talbert of Lampassas, TX, Robert Heath Talbert of
Huntington, and Jennifer Ann Pipes of Kingwood; one
great-granddaughter, Taylor Kate Talbert of Lampassas.
One sister, Betty Dobie, preceded her in
death.
Pallbearers for the service will be John
Talbert, Jennifer Pipes, Don Dolinsky, Heath Talbert, Roy Cordes,
Randy Wilson, and Ross Talbert. Jack Powell and Steve Moseley
will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family received friends from 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home.
