Larry Cherry

Larry Cherry, 59, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011 in Sugar Land, Texas. He was born on August 16, 1951 in Bay City, Texas to Charles and Emma Cherry.

Larry was part of Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 1974 and 1986. He worked at U.S. Concrete, H & R Block, and was retired from Unocal/ Chevron. Larry was also a very involved member of First Colony Church of Christ.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Beth Cherry; sons, Larry Don Cherry, John Cherry, and Sean Cherry; parents, Charles and Emma Cherry; sister, Debbie Hall and husband Billy, and many other loving friends and relatives.

The visitation was January 20, 2011 at First Colony Church of Christ, 2140 First Colony Blvd., Sugar Land, TX, with the Funeral Service starting at 11:00 am. The burial followed shortly after at Damon Cemetery, in Damon, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to an educational fund for Larry Don and John that was created by the First Colony Church of Christ. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo bank to the “Cherry Educational Fund” or you can contact the church for more information.
