Sally was many things to many people. In her younger days, she was homecoming queen, Prom Queen, Galveston Mardi Gras Queen, a Polio Survivor and head Cheer leader. To all of us that knew her and loved her, she was Mom, Nana, friend, confidant and the most inspirational woman we will ever know. She always had her heart, her arms and her home open. She taught all who knew her many things, but in this past year as she fought so valiantly against cancer, she taught us to never give in, never give up and attack every circumstance with every ounce of fight that we have in us. We love you and we will miss your tender words, generous advice and your “tell-it-like-it-is attitude”. We will miss you every moment and love you without end.
