Robert Simar Breaux was born in Las Cruces, NM on May 14, 1932 and died in Houston, TX on April 12, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, James Breaux; mother and stepfather Elsie (Breaux) & Norman Beadle and one great-grandchild. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Maryle Morgan Breaux; children and spouses, James & Marci Breaux, Daniel & Michele Breaux, Mary Ruth & Gary Crow, Yvonne & Mark Fisher, Christopher & Lillie Breaux, Barbara Breaux, Jeannemarie & Walter Johnson, Roberta & Mark Heath; siblings and spouses, Lynn and Carolyn Beadle, Normel & Camille France. Bob leaves behind 26 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Bob shared his love of music for fifty years as a relief organist at several Catholic churches. A Sea Scout in his youth, he supported his sons and grandsons in Boy Scouts and as a friend of Bill W. he attended and chaired many meetings.

The Reverend Sunny Joseph, O.S.H. will celebrate Mass on Friday, April 23, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Missouri City, Texas. Cremated remains will be committed to St. Mary’s Cemetery in Orange, Texas on Saturday, April 24, 2010.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the music program of your choice, the Boy Scouts of America, or the Knights of Columbus.
