VICKI DERRICK peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital with her family by her side. She lived a wonderful life, full of answered prayers, countless blessings, unending love, and true friendship. Vicki’s faith was her foundation, and she saw no limits as anything is possible when you “keep your eyes on the Lord.”

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Betty Gilbert Derrick and J. Roy Derrick. She is survived by her daughter Laura Higgs Ehrlich, son-in-law Henry L. “Bud” Ehrlich, granddaughter Isabella “Izzy” Ehrlich, sister and brother-in-law Diana and Bryun Sigfstead, nephews Derackk Curtis, Curt Sigfstead, and Todds Sigfstead, and their families.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at St. Catherine of Sienna Episcopal Church, 4747 Sienna Parkway, Missouri City, Texas. She will be laid to rest on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in Woodson, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association.
