Carl Julius Deisze passed away after a long courageous battle with heart disease. He died with his family by his side on August 14, 2010. He was born Feb. 4, 1945 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Julius and Doris Deisze. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He greatly valued the friendships he made throughout his life and spent many enjoyable moments with friends who shared his passions for hunting, long range rifle shooting, guitar playing, and running radio-controlled cars. He was constantly learning new things related to his various hobbies and would always generously share his knowledge.
Before illness took its toll, Carl was a strong, active person who didn’t mind working hard especially if it was to help someone else.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gail Garfield Deisze; his daughters Caroline Stone, Rachelle Zapata and her husband Moises, and Kathrine Deisze; granddaughters Zoe, Abby, Sophia and Karla; sisters Marilyn Hall, Devie Chumley and Julie Knapps and other extended family members and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 3300 Austin Parkway in Sugar Land.
