DOROTHY MARY MYERS, age 84, died on June 16, 2007. She was born to Thomas and Mamie Reason Desselle on January 6, 1923 in Bordelonville, Louisiana, where she spent her early years. She moved to New Orleans before living her most recent years in Texas, where she currently resided with her daughter.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her three sisters, and five brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Bordelon of Sugar Land, Texas and Josie Trentacoste-Soto and husband Randy Soto of Richmond, Texas; son, Charles Bordelon of Luling, Louisiana; sisters, Lola Morello of Houma and Mamie Lee Coco of LaPlace, Louisiana; brother, James Desselle of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, and staff of the Oak Bend Medical Center and the Skilled Nursing Center of Richmond, Texas and Solari Hospice Care for their care, love, and support.
