
Candis Lynell Thomas and Anthony LaTwone
Curd were united in marriage on Saturday, November 4, 2006
in a garden gazebo overlooking the ocean at the Pelican Bay
Resort in Freeport, Bahamas. A poolside reception at the
resort immediately followed the ceremony. On the eve of the
wedding, the couple, with friends and family, enjoyed a
3-hour rehearsal dinner cruise, complete with dancing and
entertainment.
The bride is the daughter of Alfred and
Beverly Middlebrook Thomas of Missouri City. The groom is
the son of Sharon Donahue and the late Donald Curd of
Chicago.
The bride is a graduate of Alief Elsik
High School and a 2000 dual-degree computer science/computer
engineering graduate of Spelman College and Georgia Tech.
She is employed as a software engineer with Accenture
Technology. The groom, a marketing graduate of Grambling
College and a former member of the school’s 1989 SWAC
Championship football team, is owner and CEO of TLC
Enterprises of Atlanta. The couple will continue to reside
in Atlanta, Georgia.
