Miss Kathryn Elizabeth Moore, daughter of
Dr. and Mrs. Warren H. Moore of Sugar Land, TX, became the
bride of Mr. Justin Matthew Flint, son of Mr. Jay Bradley
Flint and wife Colleen of Sugar Land and Mrs. Yvonne Ramsey
and husband Robert of Richmond, TX on Saturday, June 17 at
Christ United Methodist Church. The 6:00 p.m. ceremony was
officiated by the Reverend Jeff McDonald and the music was
performed by Mr. and Mrs. William E. Bussells, Jr., brother
and sister-in-law of the bride’s mother. Accompanying the
soloists was Beth McConnell, organist and pianist for the
church. Dinner and dancing followed at Sugar Creek Country
Club. Special acoustical guitar music at the reception was
provided by Carl Bussells, cousin of the bride.
Tara McGuigan of Sugar Land was Kathryn’s
Maid of Honor. Other bridesmaids were Erika Anderson of
Sugar Land; Jillian Law of Sugar Land; Amanda Gutierrez of
Belton, TX; Holly Flint, sister of the groom; and cousins of
the bride, Caroline Mann of Charlotte, NC and Amanda and
Teresa Theiling of Matthews, NC.
Serving as Best Men were Nicholas
Albertini of South Lake, TX and Geoffrey Trudeau of Missouri
City, TX. Groomsmen were Jay Flint, father of the groom;
Robert Ramsey, step-father of the groom; Robert Moore,
brother of the bride, Jason Ferguson of Orange, TX, Michael
Upshaw of Alvin, TX, cousin of the groom; and Josh Weber of
College Station, TX.
Ushers included cousins of the bride,
William Brown of Pineville, NC, Louis Bussells of Columbia
SC, and Brent Mann of Charlotte, NC and cousin of the groom,
Jason Upshaw of Alvin, TX.
The couple met while attending W.P. Clements High School
and both received degrees with honors from Texas A&M
University. After a honeymoon in Paris, they will live in
Austin, where Justin will pursue a doctoral degree in
Renaissance Literature at the University of Texas and
Kathryn will teach elementary school.
