Joe and Ann Jackson of Galveston, Texas, together with Richard and Joan White of Round Rock, Texas, are delighted to announce the engagement of their children, Lauren Brooke Jackson and Corey Matthew White.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Clements High School and attended St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, with soccer and academic scholarships. In 2003 she received a degree in Bachelor of Science in computer science with honors as a Summa Cum Laude graduate. Brooke is currently employed at Sysco Food Services as a Transportation Analyst in Houston, Texas.

The prospective groom is a 1998 graduate of Leander High School and attended St. Edward's University on a full athletic scholarship where he continued to become an All-Conference soccer player and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting degree in 2003. Corey is currently employed at Burlington Resources in Houston, Texas, as an accountant.
