Miss Kay Dee Hinkle and Mr. William
Ardale Calloway were united in marriage on Saturday, June
11, 2005 at four o'clock in the afternoon at Williams Trace
Baptist Church in Sugar Land, Texas. Doctor Kenneth A. Corr
performed the double-ring ceremony. Music was provided by
organist Marshall Maxwell, trumpeter Daniel Shipman and
soloist Valerie Ogbonnaya, a friend of the bride. A reading
was given by Luke Preston Cantrell. A dinner and reception
followed the ceremony at Texas Safari Ranch in Richmond,
Texas with music by Alterego.
On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal
dinner was given by the groom's parents at Dave and
Buster's. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K.
Daniel Hinkle of Sugar Land, Texas. She is the granddaughter
of Mrs. Anna Lee James of Adrian, Missouri and the late Mr.
Robert H. James and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hinkle of
Piedmont, Missouri. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Lawrence Calloway of Raymond, Mississippi. He is the
grandson of Mrs. Frances Kemp and the late Mr. Amos Ardale
Calender of Jackson, Mississippi and Mrs. Doris Calloway and
the late Mr. Gerald Calloway also of Jackson.
Given in marriage by her parents and
escorted by her father, the Bride wore an organza spaghetti
strapped a-line dress that was also worn by her mother at
her wedding. The chapel length dress is embellished with
imported gupour lace of flowers, Austrian crystals
and pearls.
Serving as maid of honor was the bride's
sister, Victoria Michele Hinkle of Sugar Land. The
bridesmaids included Katherine Amanda Bousson of
Collierville, Tennessee, Kathryn Ross Spencer and Megan
Margaret Moody of Grenada, Mississippi and Anna Calloway
Prestwood, sister of the groom from Clinton, Mississippi.
Serving as best man was the groom's
father Henry Lawrence Calloway. Groomsmen included Jonathan
Charles Busby and Brandon Rae Carr of Vicksburg,
Mississippi, Steven Craig Prestwood of Clinton Mississippi
and United States Air Force Lieutenant Travis James Hinkle,
brother of the bride of Kirtland Air Force Base in New
Mexico. Ushers included Troy Aaron Coward, of DeKalb,
Mississippi, Albert Gerald Calloway of Crystal Springs,
Mississippi and Kelly Leigh Boszor of Brandon, Mississippi.
The Bride is a graduate of St. Agnes
Academy in Houston. She received her Bachelor of Science
degree from Mississippi State University. The groom is a
graduate of Porters Chapel Academy in Vicksburg. He earned
his Bachelors of Science degree at Mississippi State
University. He will start a graduate degree program at
Baylor University in the fall. Following a honeymoon in Lake
Tahoe, Nevada, the bride and groom will reside in Waco,
Texas.
