Jack and Nancy Hank of La Vernia, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Samantha, to Michael Matson, the son of Scott and Mary Beth Matson of Missouri City, Texas.

Samantha is a 2002 graduate of Elkins High School, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in education in 2006 from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. She is currently employed at Keystone Consulting Group, Inc. in Sugar Land, Texas.

Michael is a 2002 graduate of Elkins High School, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 2006 from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He is currently enrolled in the doctorate program for chemistry at Rice University in Houston.
