Mr. and Mrs. Stephen P. Fontenot of Sugar Land, TX announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Renee Fontenot to Mr. Gordon Joseph Banks of Crowley, TX.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School and is also a graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is employed by Texas Farm Products in Nacogdoches.

The prospective groom is the son of Tim and Mary McCue of Crowley, TX and Jimmy Banks of Keene, TX. He is a 2002 graduate from Crowley High School. He is currently attending Stephen F. Austin State University, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He is a member of Sigma Tau Gamma.
