Miss Jennifer Lyn Schaible weds Mr. Tyler Bryan Boyd


Miss Jennifer Lyn Schaible of The Woodlands, Texas and Mr. Tyler Bryan Boyd of Sugar Land, Texas were united in a double-ring candlelight ceremony at half after six o’clock in the evening on January 22, 2011, at The Corinthian in Houston, Texas. Dr. Billy Keith Putt officiated.

Ceremony music was provided by the Deborah Brooks Chamber Ensemble with the addition of Marshall Maxwell during the cocktail reception. The Holy Scriptures were read by Charles Eugene Gibbs, uncle of the groom of Stafford, Texas. Following the ceremony, the mother of the bride hosted a cocktail reception, a seated dinner and an after party at The Corinthian. On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the groom held a rehearsal dinner at Minute Maid Park.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. David Frederick Schaible and the late Mr. Schaible of The Woodlands, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Barbara Becker Hurley of Vero Beach, Florida.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bryan Boyd of Katy, Texas. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Devolt McCoy of The Meadows Place, Texas and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Arkansas Boyd.

For her wedding, the bride wore a silk satin strapless ball gown by Amsale of New York featuring a natural waistline accented with a cummerbund and an embroidered inset on the bodice. The full pleated skirt fell gracefully to a chapel length train. She wore a two-tiered veil to complete her ensemble. The bride carried a bouquet of calla lilies, lisianthus, double princess tulips, roses, lilacs, hydrangeas and hyacinths, all in shades of purple and lavender.

Given in marriage by her mother and escorted by her brother, Robert Scott Schaible, the bride was attended by her sister Kathryn Elise Schaible of The Woodlands as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Betsy Ann Bryan of The Woodlands, Jessica Grace Elkin of Philadelphia, Britney Nicole Miskell, sister of the groom of Richmond, Texas and Karlin Ashley West of The Woodlands. The junior bridesmaid was Abigail Valentine Schaible, sister of the bride, also of The Woodlands.

The groom chose as groomsmen Phu Ngoc Bui of Sugar Land, William Robert Miskell, brother-in-law of the groom, of Richmond, Texas, Thomas James Shinderle and Arun John Varghese, both of Sugar Land. The ushers were William James Cloud of The Woodlands and Matthew Donald Messer of College Station. Serving as flower girl and ring bearer were cousins of the bride, Rebecca Paige Hurley and Andrew Thomas Hurley of Vero Beach, Florida.

The couple are recent graduates of Texas A&M University where Mrs. Boyd earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor degree in Dance and Mr. Boyd, a degree in Industrial Distribution.

Following a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple plans to reside in Houston where Jenny is employed by Boni’s Dance and Performing Arts Studio and Tyler by General Plastics and Composites of Houston.
