Bruce and Jacqueline Layer of Missouri City, Texas are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Marie to Jonathan David Swope, son of Allen and Maryanne Swope of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The bride-to-be graduated from Elkins High School in 1999 and received her BBA in Finance from the University of Texas, Austin in 2003. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. Lindsey earned her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in May 2009 and is a healthcare consultant in Parsippany, New Jersey.

The groom-to-be graduated from Central Dauphin East High School in 1999 and received his BA in Mathematics and Economics from Duke University in 2003. He will receive his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in May 2010. Jonathan will be an investment banker in New York City following graduation.

The couple was engaged at the Washington Duke Inn at Duke University in May 2009. The wedding is set for summer of 2010. Lindsey and Jon will reside in the New York metro area.
