The parents of Melinda Marie Finch are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter to Mr. Jonathan Bitterman Rao.

Melinda is the daughter of Ms. Mindy Stamey Benefield of Sugar Land, TX and Mr. and Mrs. Benton Finch of Missouri City, TX. She is a 1999 graduate of Clements HS and a 2003 graduate of The University of Texas with degrees in Spanish and Corporate Communication. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She is currently employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Sunovion.

Jonathan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rao of Missouri City, TX. He is a 1997 graduate of Elkins HS and a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in business. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He is currently employed by Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor.

A 2011 summer wedding is planned in Bigfork, Montana.
