Dr. and Mrs. Paul Ellis Jr. of Sugar Land are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katharine Marie, to Matthew James Mixon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mixon of Stafford. Katharine is a 2003 graduate of Austin High School and currently a student at University of Houston. Matthew is a 2003 graduate of Dulles High School and a 2008 graduate of Rice University. He is an event coordinator at American Airlines Center in Dallas.
A March wedding is planned.
