Mr. and Mrs. Paul Russell Jeffcoat of Sugar Land, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Ann, to Mitchell Drew Mangum of Plano, Texas. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Hollis Mangum. An August wedding is planned.

Miss Jeffcoat is a 2005 graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School and is currently a student at Texas State University. She will graduate in December 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Social Studies Composite Secondary Teaching Certification.

Mr. Mangum graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems after serving in the United States Army. He is currently working in Information Technology for US Oncology in Austin, Texas. Mr. Mangum is a veteran of the Iraq War.
