It’s not long before the bodies start piling up, and she once again finds herself facing the wrong end of the knife--but this time, she’s far from the comforts of home!

DON’T TOUCH THE WHITE WOMAN - Koch

In this satirical comedy, Marco Ferreri transplants the Battle of Little Big Horn to the site of a demolished Parisian mall and presents his take on the classic American Western, sympathizing with the Indians instead of the cowboys. Although this DVD has possibly the worst title in the history of cinema, it is a very good program. This program has a wonderful cast, including Catherine Denueve, Marcello Mastroianni, Michel Piccoli and Ugo Tognazzi.

HOTEL: Season One - Paramount

Based on Arthur Hailey’s popular novel and the 1967 film of the same name, ABC’s Hotel is basically a land-based Love Boat set at San Francisco’s opulent St. Gregory Hotel featuring a combo of guest stars along with a regular cast in intertwined stories of primetime soap love, lust and drama. Hotel was a well-made primetime soap done in proven Love Boat style, Hotel was one of the early hits of the 1983-1984 season. From the excellent cast to the elegant, atmospheric decor of the St. Gregory itself, Hotel oozed with style and class. This is exemplified in the show’s regal opening theme by late great composer Henry Mancini. THIS AMERICAN LIFE: Season Two - Paramount

The widely popular, award-winning Chicago Public Radio show of the same name is now a Showtime show. Drawing on a different theme each week, viewers hear compelling stories from everyday folks culled from six months on the road. Host Ira Glass and company create a captivating look at the American Life in a series that’s not quite documentary, not much of a news magazine and definitely not a reality show – it’s simply unlike anything else.

BLEACH: Volume 18 - Viz Media

In this 18th installment of the series, the Bounts target Uryu and bring him before their leader, the megalomaniacal Kariya, despite all efforts to stop them. Kariya’s goal is to gain the unique powers of a Quincy and use them for his own diabolical purpose. Members of both the Soul Society and the world of the living gather for a fierce face-off with the Bounts! A new character is introduced in this edition - a Soul Reaper who is working with the Bounts, and who is recognized as a member of Squad 11. Bleach Volume 18 has some flaws, including an episode that mostly consists of not-very-interesting flashbacks. But it also introduces some intriguing new twists, and promises to get ever more exciting. If you are a fan of this series, you must pick this dvd up!
