...of uninformed people telling me we need to stop global warming

I’m sick and tired of politicians, pundits, the liberal news media and 16-year-olds promoting the highest conceived tax increase in American history in the name of stopping global warming. There is no such thing as man made global warming.

The proposed Cap and Trade bill that our U.S. Congress passed WITHOUT READING will be referred to here as the Restrict and Tax bill. This is another ridiculous scam on the U.S. consumer to pay off Wall Street bankers, other political contributors and Al Gore. Their Restrict and Tax bill will not lower greenhouse gasses one little bit, but it will force your electric provider to pay HUGE taxes for doing exactly what they are doing right this minute, which will be reflected in your electric bill. To quote President Obama, “Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

Every year our coal-fired power plant right here in Fort Bend County will be forced to limit the amount of carbon released to produce the same amount of electricity. Well, that isn’t going to happen. So what it will have to do is BUY some other company’s “unused carbon credit.” And guess where they will go to buy that credit? No, not the government, but Wall Street investment bankers like Goldman Sachs, whose employees just happened to have contributed $981,000 to the Barack Obama Presidential Campaign, and were his leading private campaign donor, according to Rolling Stone, July 9-23, 2009.

If you have never picked up an issue of the Rolling Stone or think it is just a liberal rag, I urge you to read about the incestuous relationship Goldman Sachs has with every Republican and Democrat administration (including President Change), especially in the last 20 years and their inexplicable connection to this Restrict and Tax bill sham.

Then, if the current Restrict and Tax bill is approved rises in prices for the so-called carbon credits will be government mandated. Goldman Sachs and the rest the Wall Street bankers will have a free pass on all price increases as the government has rigged it to their advantage.

So, does anybody out there want to create free money? I am ready to start my company. It is a 10-megawatt gas-fired power plant. But I won’t use any of my carbon credits; I will just sell them to the highest bidder. You know people are already doing the very same thing. And Al Gore has his scam to, but he calls it carbon sequestering. So, every tree he plants he gets some carbon credits to bid off on Wall Street.

Topping off this whole sham is the fact that there is not one shred of scientific evidence that human activity is any cause of global warming (see “the Global Warming Swindle” at http://web.mac.com/jcoons1/iWeb/Site/Movie.html for a complete explanation of the “scientific consensus”). The eruption of Mount Pinatubo released more so-called greenhouse gasses than ALL HUMAN ACTIVITY has in the last 100 years. This single eruption in 1991 caused an average 1 degree Celsius DROP in world temperature.

You must understand, this bill has absolutely nothing to do with global warming or environmental concerns. This is a power grab and payoff to political contributors plain and simple. According to Matt Taibbi in Rolling Stone, July 9-23, the Democratic Party (which is anything but) received over $4,452,585 from lobbyists pushing the Restrict and Tax bill. Everybody that is promoting this global warming scam has a financial interest in it. Even the so-called scientists that get government grants to study it (you don’t get grants to try to disprove it) are in it for the money.
