Christmas Fever
Christmas is a time of joy, peace, togetherness and picking out presents, all things I love, especially the last. I always have an item or brand I’m looking out for throughout the year, so when it comes to Christmas I am set to go.
Every year this process gets harder, little toys aren’t of interest anymore, it is all about the little electrical gadgets or the cute fashion fads. Last year was my time for checking out the latest iPod availability, but it seems for now my interest has shifted to another fun
topic, clothes and purses.
My curious thought for the week was “what color purse do I want this time?” Which I find funny because last year my question was, “what color iPod do I want?” I have decided that this year a purse would be way more beneficial than electronics because, well ...got to look good
right? Of course once I have decided my main item everything else just has to match it, such as scarves and the likes.
Christmas is somewhat like Halloween, after a certain age it starts losing the magical imaginary aspect and thus the fun of reindeer and sleigh bells. Therefore, I need to milk these last few for all it is worth because I’m almost certain Santa doesn’t visit kids in college.
Guys on the other hand are on a whole other level, it’s definitely all about games, gadgets and money. It can’t be much fun waking up in the morning, opening up a game and sitting at a computer all day.
The excitement is building but it hasn’t quite hit yet but I’m sure soon enough the city is gonna have Christmas fever. I will definitely not be expecting any video games under the tree with my name on them, and if I find some the man in the big red suit’s in some trouble.
