Man arrested for shooting at Mission Bend

A Mission Bend man who was wanted by authorities for a fatal shooting during a family gathering over Thanksgiving has turned himself in. Durell Watts, 25, purportedly shot his 21 year old brother-in-law, Courtney Wilson, on November 23, 2010 at his Mission Bend home on Mercado.

Watts fled the scene that night. Wilson succumbed to his injuries the following day. Wilson had been shot in the neck according to authorities.

On Monday, November, 29 Watts turned himself in. He is being charged with murder.
