On a recent Sunday afternoon Sugar Land police were called to First Colony Mall after a shoplifter ran from a Macy’s loss prevention officer. As the officer rolled up…he saw the loss prevention officer in possession of the suspect. Well, upon seeing the officer, the shoplifter musta’ took the clue…his Christmas was gonna be a little tighter than originally planned. So, he bolted. Across the parking lot they ran…headed for the freeway. Realizing that a foot chase on the freeway was not the way to spend a holiday shopping afternoon…and the fool shoplifter would not stop running…the officer pulled his Tazer and tagged the fleeing crook. Bagged and tagged. Tis’ the season! Gotta love a good game of Tag! |
