Jennifer Stacy Sides, 34, a resident of the New Territory subdivision, was arrested after she surrendered to county authorities last week after she was indicted by the Fort Bend Grand Jury charging her with Injury to a Child. Her bond was $30,000 bond.

The charges against Sides stem from a year long investigation regarding an incident that occurred on November 7, 2009, said sheriff’s spokesperson Terriann Carlson. Authorities were notified in 2009 by Memorial Hermann Hospital regarding a 9-month old infant who was in their care and being treated for severe head trauma. Those injuries are alleged to have occurred at a home-based childcare facility in the New Territory subdivision under the supervision of Jennifer Sides, said Carlson.
