A traffic stop in the 2000 block of Thompson Highway in Richmond resulted and arrest and a slew of charges.
Richmond police master sergeant Lowell Neinast said Richmond Corporal Todd Ganey effected a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2000 block of Thompson Highway. Neinast said when Corpl Ganey worked his K-9 narcotics dog, Hondo, around the vehicle Hondo alerted on the passenger side of the car.
As the investigation unfolded, the passenger in the vehicle was identified as Daniell Lynn Kinard, 36, of Richmond. Further investigation revealed that Kinard was in possession of several prescription bottles containing different types of dangerous drugs as well as cocaine, said Neinast. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for an open container and released at the scene.
Kinard was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone, both third degree felonies, possession of a controlled substance in a Drug Free Zone, yet another third degree felony, as well as possession of a dangerous d, a class A misdemeanor, and an outstanding class C warrant out of Rosenberg.
Kinard was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.
