Sugar Land detectives are looking for a man who has illegally entered at least two condominiums along Grants Lake Boulevard. In both instances, entry was gained through unlocked sliding glass doors.
A 45-year-old woman sleeping in her bedroom said she woke up on Oct. 21 at 3 a.m. and saw a man watching her. She screamed, pushed the man into an adjacent room and called police. He left through the front door.
A 14-year-old girl said a similar incident occurred to her on Oct. 24 at 11:45 p.m. The man left after the girl screamed, and her mom called police.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 200 to 220 pounds, with short dark hair and light skin. He was wearing a black t-shirt.
There have been several reports during the past year of a man seen looking through windows in the Grants Lake area. Descriptions have been similar to the man seen on Oct. 21 and 24.
Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at (281) 275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477).
