STATE WIDE AWARD WINNING COLUMNIST

I’m sick and tired of the liberal news media. I know that journalists vote for Democrats at an alarming rate denying their bias. In fact, one study found that during presidential elections between 1964 and 1976, 81 percent of journalists interviewed voted for the Democrat candidates.

I knew they would go out of their way to put a slant on a news report shortly after the 1994 election when Republicans took control of the house for the first time in 40 years. Every single news report echoed the exact same false accusation at Newt Gingrich. He was going to “cut the budget” and your grandparents were going to have to eat dog food.

Recently, the Democrats and Obama cut Medicare $500 billion and I haven’t heard a word about them being responsible for seniors deciding between health care and eating dog food.

Gingrich and the Republican Congress’ plan was to reduce the automatic increase in the Government’s base line budget. All government departments were still getting a one to three percent plus increase instead of the four to six percent or more increase they all “expected.” Remember Ross Perot’s insistence on zero-based budgeting.

After listening to that so-called “cutting the budget” accusation for three or four months, Bill Clinton approved and signed the budget the Republicans proposed and I can see the CNN news anchor’s face vividly saying, ‘President Clinton signed a budget reducing the rate of government growth.’ And Clinton was responsible for balancing the budget.

Speaking of government budgets, those poor liberals are still out there selling snake oil in the form of more spending on failing government schools and blaming Governor Rick Perry for not using federal swindle-us money on government schools. I only have one question. Did Texas reduce the amount of money they spent on education in the last budget cycle?

Sounds like these liberals are trying to scare the voters into voting for Bill White because Rick Perry is going to reduce money to education. This is what liberals and the lame-stream media accuse Republicans of doing. They invented this tactic (see above).

If you want to get rid of “Governor 40 percent”, then you need to do it in the Republican primary, not by electing a wild-eyed liberal Democrat who raised money in Texas for Obama’s presidential campaign.
