Last week an east Fort Bend County pharmacy was robbed .. sorta.
See, this guy walked up to the drive-in lane of a pharmacy, pressed a note to the bulletproof window stating ... “Got a friend inside with a bomb strapped to him. If you don’t give me your Oxycodone, I will detonate the bomb.”
It is really hard to decide just where this plan went so very wrong.
Was it the walk up to the drive-in window?
Was it the note up against the bullet proof glass?
Was it the threat to blow up his friend inside?
You pick.
The pharmacist was on her game, she politely told him it would be just a minute, while she called 911.
Police arrived and took the guy into custody as he was going - empty handed - through the parking lot.
Poor guy, bet he’s confused over the robbery charge, just because he didn’t succeed doesn’t make any less a felony.
