Longtime Program Supporter Provides Scholarship for Non-Profit Professional

NRG Energy has long been a strong and committed supporter of the Central Fort Bend Chamber Alliance’s Leadership Fort Bend program, generously sponsoring Leadership functions and regularly sending employees through the program.

This year, NRG took its generosity a step further. The company has not only registered one of its own employees, Engineering Supervisor Robert Been, but is also sponsoring a scholarship to allow an area non-profit professional the opportunity to experience the program.

NRG officials selected Fort Bend Cares Executive Director Jill Curtis as the scholarship recipient, paying her admission to the prestigious program.
