As a couple were making their way to a residence in the 10800 block of Parkland Woods in the Townwest subdivision, they were robbed by what appeared to be a passing motorist.

According to officials, the couple had parked their car along the street and were walking to the front door when a small SUV pulled into the driveway. A man got out of the SUV and pointed a gun at the couple demanding their cash and valuables.

During the robbery, one shot was discharged but did not hit anything according to authorities.

The robber fled the scene in a what was described as a dark colored, Honda CRV.

The suspect was described as a black male about 6’, with a medium, yet very muscular build. He is believed to be between 30-35 years old and was wearing all dark clothing.
