Car burglar nabbed in action |

Early Sunday morning, Sugar Land police responded to suspicious activity on Pebble Hill Court. According to police at about 2:45 in the morning they were notified of a man walking down Pebble Hill Court trying to open door handles on cars. The reportee told police that the man trying to get into the neighborhood vehicles was driving a red Ford Explorer. As responding Officer Shockey rolled into the neighborhood, he noticed a red Ford Explorer round a corner. The officer stopped, and waited. The suspect entered a car, not his own, and Officer Shockey detained him. Michael Villarreal, 26, of Fresno was arrested and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. |
