CONSTRUCTION MARK-ERS? (Hwy 6 from FM 1092 to Sugar Land) Are left turns going to be prohibited except at corners? (NO.) A raised median is being built from FM 1092 to Teal Bend. The median will have various openings allowing for left turns between signalized intersections (where space allows) as well as full turning movements at signalized intersections.
PURPOSE? To control traffic.
MACNAUGHTON PARK SHAPING UP. Parks Department taking the lead with assistance from Public Works. Dozer operator, Leo (Parks Department) has Excellent heavy equipment operator skills. The entire TEAM have taken this project to heart and are giving it their very best efforts to make it a successful project.
INITIAL PROJECT? * Mass grading to shape banks on most lakes for ease of maintenance. * Removal of any cart path to allow bank/dirt work. * Any unsafe conditions found by the TEAM will be addressed at this time.
ULTIMATE CONFIGU-RATION OF PONDS? Will be based on the recommendations from the Water Balance Analysis that assessed the pond levels and the existing local runoff.
