A new dance team is making its home in Sugar Land Texas. Stompin’ Irish Dance team is holding auditions April 2 for its Riverdance inspired dance troupe. The dance troupe focuses on performing show-style Irish Dance routines similar to drill team and cheerleading choreography. No Irish Dance experience is required so any teen ages 12-19 is invited to audition.

Dancers who join are immediately trained with the goal of performing. “We want to get out in the community and showcase our hard work as soon as possible” says Danielle Morris, Artistic Director “Irish dance is so much fun to share with audiences.”

Teens who want to audition should have dance training (in any discipline) and prepare a short audition piece in their preferred dance style. Future auditions will be held on the second Saturday of every month.
