Sugar Land Garden Club Arbor Day ceremony held

Sugar Land Garden Club Arbor Day ceremony recently held In recognition of National Arbor Day last week members of the Sugar Land Garden Club met with Sugar Land City Park Officials and the Keep Sugar Land Beautiful Executive Director to dedicate a large Cedar Elm tree and a traditional Mexican White Oak Tree that the Garden Club has given to and planted in the Pawm Springs Dog Park located in Sugar Land Memorial Park. Along with Sugar Land Garden Club members in the photo is Vicki Gist, Executive Director of Keep Sugar Land Beautiful, Erle Gooding, City of Sugar Land Superintendent of Parks, Maintenance and Operations, Jim Browne, City of Sugar Land Director of Parks and Recreation and Kimberly Terrell, City of Sugar Land Parks Development Manager.
