Sheriff’s authorities are searching for clues in the robbery of a pizza shop near Clodine. As Saturday night was winding to an end, an employee of the Little Caesar’s pizza on FM 1093/Westheimer Road near Clodine, was forcibly returned to the store while he was putting trash in the dumpster.
According to Sheriff’s spokesperson Terriann Carlson, the employee was at the dumpster behind the store when a man armed with a gun ordered him back into the business. Carlson said, “ Once inside, the suspect ordered a second employee to retrieve the cash from the register and safe and then forced the two employees to kneel on the ground in a back room.”
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male with a mustache. He was believed to be 5’11” tall and weighed between 140 – 160 pounds. He was wearing a blue button up shirt, blue jeans, brown boots, a white baseball cap, and carried a new blue or black “Hermann Hospital” backpack. He reportedly left the store with cash in hand and is believed to have fled in a getaway car parked nearby.
