Safety and security, yep that’s what everybody wants …. Well, sometimes…maybe not so much.
Seems the security of a Sugar Land pharmaceutical operation got a little out of whack last week when an alarm at a home in the Glen Laurel subdivision in north Sugar Land summoned police. Officers responded and discovered an open door.
Oops! Imagine their surprise when they discovered dope, cash, and prescription drugs, in plain view laying about the house.
So when the owner rolls up, shock and awe….he refused to allow police to search. Now they had already been inside to secure the residence after finding an open door so…you get the picture. Undaunted, police already had a search warrant in the works. Done and done. Dope collected, cash collected, and resident collected.
Ya gotta love a security device that you pay for and it snitches ya’ off to the cops.
