Sugar Land police have released the sketch of the man believed to have robbed the Olive Garden restaurant on Sweetwater Boulevard.
Police spokesperson Doug Adolph said police artists have developed a sketch of the man who robbed the restaurant located at 5005 Sweetwater, on Thursday afternoon, January 13, at about 4:30 p.m. As reported last week, the suspect posed as a job applicant. Once back in the manager’s office for his interview, the posing applicant is reported to have threatened the manager with a gun then took off with the cash in the office.
The suspect was described as a Black male with braided hair wearing a black coat, dark jeans, an Astros hat, and white Nike shoes with a purple swoosh. The suspect’s description is similar to a man who robbed Dillards, 16523 Southwest Freeway, on Dec. 17 at 8:15 p.m. said Adolph.
Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at (281) 275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477).
