 Died
Tuesday 2-6-07 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was
born 11-19-49 and graduated from Bay City HS in ’68. He
graduated from Texas A&M in 1972 with a Petroleum
Engineering Degree. Steve has always worked in the oil and
gas industry and at the time of his death, was Drilling
Manager at Mariner Energy in Houston. He and his wife Susan
moved to the Meadows in 1976 and have been there ever since.
“The Wade boys”, Jason and Aaron grew up in the Meadows and
graduated from Dulles HS in 1997 and 1998. They were proud
members of the Dulles Baseball team and Varsity Singers.
Both boys followed their dad’s example and graduated from
Texas A&M in ’01 and ’02. They also both work in the oil
business in Houston. Aaron married Sarah Vestal in 5-05 and
are expecting their first child in 2 months. They plan on
naming him William Stephen Wade after the grandpa he will
not have the pleasure of knowing. Hundreds attended the
funeral on 2-10-07 at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland.
He will be greatly missed by many. |
