Robert and Susan Merkle of Sugar Land are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ginger Merkle, to Dustin Spiehler, son of Donny and Grace Spiehler of Slidell, Louisiana.
Ginger graduated from Clements High School in 2002, and Houston Baptist University in 2006, where she received a BA in elementary education. She is currently employed in entertainment at Walt Disney World.
Dustin graduated from Louisiana State University in 2007 with a BS in business management. He currently works for the Social Security Administration in Baton Rogue.
After a fall wedding, the couple will reside in Orlando, Florida.
