Mr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Spearman of Katy, Texas are happy to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lauren Rebecca, to Phillip Matthew Thurston, son of Mr. & Mrs. Phillip Thurston of Missouri City, Texas.

Lauren is a 2001 graduate of Elkins High School and a 2004 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. She now lives in Sacramento, California, where she works in Governor Schwarzenegger’s Office.

Matt is a 2000 graduate of Elkins High School and a 2004 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. He also lives in Sacramento, California, where he is a freelance Account Manager working with various advertising agencies.
